Kansas City beat Buffalo 42-36 in overtime on a Patrick Mahomes touchdown pass to Travis Kelce to advance to their fourth straight AFC Championship, where they will face Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday.

There were three lead changes and one tie, with 25 points scored in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter. 

Josh Allen fired a 27-yard touchdown to Gabriel Davis with 1:54 to play in the fourth quarter to give Buffalo – 29-26 lead. Five plays and :52 seconds later, Mahomes connected with Tyreek Hill on a 64-yard touchdown to give Kansas City the lead again, 33-29. Allen needed just :49’seconds to swing the lead back to the Bills, hitting Davis over the middle on a 19-yard rope to make it 36-33 with :13 seconds to play. 

Mahomes was able to engineer 44 yards of real estate acquisition in those waning moments to set up Harrison Butker for the game-tying 49-yard field goal as time expired.

The Chiefs received the kick in overtime, and Mahomes made short work of the Bills defense, moving 75 yards in just eight plays, the last 8 yards on the toss to Kelce in the back, right corner of the end zone for the game-winner.

Mahomes finished 33-of-44 for 378 yards and 3  TD’s.  He added 69 yards and one TD rushing. Tyreek Hill had 11 catches for 150 yards and one score. Kelce finished with 9 grabs for 96 yards and one TD.

Allen completed 27-of-37 passes for 329 yards and 4 TD’s. Davis set an NFL playoff record with four touchdown catches on 201 yards receiving.

There will be a new Super Bowl champion after the Los Angeles Rams beat Tampa Bay 30-27 on a walk-off 30-yard Matt Gay field goal in the NFC Divisional playoffs Sunday.

The Rams built a 27-3 a lead with 7:07 remaining in the third quarter on a Matthew Stafford Quarterback sneak leaving Tom Brady in his biggest hole since Atlanta led his Patriots 28-3 in the third quarter of Super Bowl LI. 

The Bucs climbed all the way back after Rams running back Cam Akers lost his second fumble of the game at the LA 23-yard yard line with just over two minutes to play. The Buccaneers tied the game at 27-all on a Leonard Fournette 9-yard touchdown run with just :42 seconds to play. 

The Rams moved from their 25-yard line to the Bucs 12 yard line on the strength of two Stafford to Cooper Kupp connections that covered 64 yards. As the clock ticked toward all zeroes, Gay booted the Rams into the NFC Title Game next Sunday where they will host San Francisco.

11th-ranked LSU was upset by Florida in Gainesville 73-72.  Khayla Painter led LSU (17-3, 5-2) with 26 points. Florida (15-5, 5-2) picked up their third win over a Top-25 team in their last five outings.
